Drake Unleashes “No Face” Video
Following his recent high-profile rap battle with Kendrick Lamar, Drake has shifted focus back to his music. On the evening of October 30, he premiered the music video for “No Face,” his first since dropping the diss track “Family Matters.” Released back in August, the song now comes to life with a video showing Drake and his crew taking over a deserted mall. In a bold display, Drake and the OVO squad fill the empty corridors by cruising around in SUVs and ATVs marked with the iconic October’s Very Own logo.
On the track, Drake delivers sharp verses over production by London Cyr, Connor Sewer, DJ Lewis, and Octavian, with lyrics that reflect his confidence and resilience. “This is the sh*t that my daddy had raised me on/Nias got lit off the features I skated on,” he raps. “I gotta know, I gotta know/How you get lit off the nia you hatin’ on?/Numbers untouchable, they got the data wrong/This is the moment I know they been prayin’ on.”
With “No Face,” Drake continues to solidify his position in the hip-hop world, showing fans that he’s not slowing down anytime soon.
